Application Developer

OPPORTUNITY :

NALPRO Business Solutions is a leading provider of business solutions for companies in the middle market. We have an immediate opening for an individual to join our analysis/programming team as we support our clients through development of custom applications. We operate in an entrepreneurial environment where everyone's opinion counts and voice is heard. The responsibilities of this position can and will grow based on the performance of the individual. This is a highly visible position requiring interaction with clients and other team members.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

The individual holding this position will be responsible for developing custom applications designed to enhance functionality of packaged software we resell or create unique solutions to solve a client's business issue. In addition, we anticipate the person in this position will be able to implement and train on business intelligence software packages.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

The ideal candidate will have over four years of experience in programming

Programming languages to include Java script, VB Script, ASP, ASP.NET, VB, VB.NET, C#, HTML,SQL, ADO

Database experience with SQL Server and Access

Strong SQL skills and fundamental understanding of relational data marts

Candidate should have strong analytical, diagnostic and problem-solving abilities

Familiarity with OLAP, web development, IIS Administration

Knowledge of Crystal Reports or other report writing tools

Experience in setting up project plans and following proven methodologies

Able to work well within a team oriented environment

Be a self starter, results oriented and understands the need for client satisfaction
