We have an immediate opening for an individual to join our network engineer team as we support our clients through IT solution. This is a highly visible position requiring interaction with clients and other team members.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
The core responsibility of this position is to install/maintain local and wide area networks and all associated equipment at client sites including routers, switches, hubs, file servers & firewalls. The position also may require accompanying the business development staff on sales calls to assist in the technical specifications and evaluation of the client's system needs. In addition, the person filling the role of network engineer will develop network designs and project plan proposals.
QUALIFICATIONS:
MCSE 2003 & CCNA/CCNP Certification
Strong communications skills and ability to discuss solution and process areas as well as technical system areas
Multi-domain Active Directory security architectures
Clustered Exchange 2003/2007 architecture, design/migration and troubleshoot
Strong DNS Services, DHCP Services, WINS, ISA, IIS Server, Cluster Server
Strong working knowledge/understanding of Cisco router/switch configuration, VPN configuration, and Firewall security
Symantec Anti-SPAM/Anti-Virus products Experience
CITRIX and Terminal Server administration and implementation
Prior experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2000/2005, VMWare, and SharePoint Server 2003/2007
SAN implementation experience
