When Off the Shelf Doesn't Fit

There are times when an off the shelf solution just doesn't fully address all of your requirements. This is where our custom development team can step in and create software that will augment the packaged software.

Our custom solution methodology insures that the system we deliver, whether it's Web or Windows based, meets your exact needs and expectations. The processes we use for ensuring your complete satisfaction are broken down into four (4) major phases, as follows:

Discovery Phase

Goal:
To develop a clear understanding of the management objectives the solution will address.

Process:
This phase begins with our Solutions Architect understanding the unique business and technology requirements of your organization. The architect will interview key staff members who will spell out your goals the proposed system will address. The outcome of this process is a Business Requirements document which outlines the objectives to be attained by the custom system. In addition, an estimated budget will be prepared so that you will have an idea of the cost and time the solution will require.

Functionality Phase

Goal:
To develop a blueprint for the new system that will outline all the functions which the new system will perform.

Process:
After the client reviews and approves the requirements document, our analysts will begin to design the framework of the proposed solution. During this phase our analysts will meet with your staff who will use the new system to understand the operational needs of the users. Entry screens and reports will be prototyped and business process flows will be documented. The end result of this process is a Functional Requirements document which will be used during the development phase.

Development Phase

Goal:
To produce the actual system from the Functional Requirements blueprint.

Process:
Our staff of developers will take the Functional Requirements document, draw up technical and testing specifications which will be used in the development and testing of the new system. As each functional part of the system is finished it will be subjected to rigorous testing by our Quality Assurance staff.

Implementation Phase

Goal:
To install and assist your staff in understanding and using the new system.

Process:
We will coordinate with you staff as to the timing and manner of deploying the new system. Members from our implementation team will work closely with your staff to insure they are comfortable and competent in using the new system.
